HALSUS is created by the Environmental Resource and Information Centre (ERIC) Team which is part of the Lancashire Business Environment Association (BEA), a subsidiary of the charity 'Groundwork'.

The Lancashire Business Environment Association has been established to offer cost-effective, practical support to small and medium sized enterprises.

Within the BEA is a specialist health and safety team who offer support and information on health and safety matters.
